Homecoming Weekend is quickly approaching at Samford University. On the weekend of Nov. 10-12, alumni will come home to Samford to celebrate and reminisce about their time on campus.

Casey Ramey, director of the alumni program, has many events for alumni throughout the weekend. These can be found here

In addition to alumni activities, three classes will be having reunions. The class of 1967 will celebrate their 50-year reunion, the class of 1992 will be celebrating their 25-year reunion and the class of 2007 will be celebrating their 10-year reunion.

The class of ’67 will have a reunion breakfast Saturday morning in the Howard Room at 9 a.m. They will also be able to attend their first Golden Bulldog Luncheon, designed for alumni who have graduated at least 50 years ago. The luncheon takes place in Seibert Gymnasium at 11:30 a.m.

The classes of ’92 and ’07 will hold reunion tailgates for their class on the quad beginning at 11 a.m.

Advance reservations are required for all class reunion events.

Several departments, organizations and other groups will be having reunion events throughout the weekend.

McWhorter School of Pharmacy has several special events planned during the weekend to celebrate the school’s 90th anniversary, including special reunion events for the classes of 1987, 1992 and 1997 on Saturday from 7:30-9 a.m. Advance registration is requested by emailing Victoria Allen at vallen2@samford.edu  or calling 205-726-2792.

Other activities for alumni include looking through past Entre Nous’s at the respective class events. As a part of the ’92 and ’07 tailgates, there will be a photo wall filled with pictures from their time at Samford. At the ’67 breakfast, these photos will be framed on tables.
