Three former Samford University football players -- Kelsey Pope, Jeremy Towns and Fabian Truss -- will have opportunities with National Football League teams. Pope has signed a free agency deal with the Arizona Cardinals. Towns and Truss have been invited to a mini-camp tryout with the New York Jets. All three completed their Samford careers as part of the 2013 Southern Conference co-championship team.
