In celebration of the centennial of coeducation, Samford University is recognizing more than 20 women who have made significant contributions to the school-and beyond.
The women, who represent almost every decade of the last one hundred years, will be spotlighted on the homepage of the Samford website. Julia Barron, the "founding mother" of Howard College, kicked off the recognitions on March 3.
A new bio will be posted each day through the end of March, which is Women's History Month.
