"We take very seriously the investment families are making in a Samford education, and our goal is to keep the cost of that investment as reasonable as possible," said R. Phil Kimrey, Samford's vice president for student affairs and enrollment management. "Our students expect high-quality, rigorous academic programs, and we seek to find balance between those expectations and affordability."

Kimrey noted that Samford's total undergraduate costs continue to be about 15 percent below the national average for private universities, according to statistics released by The College Board. Samford's tuition also is $5,000-$17,000 less than its private institution peers in the Southern Conference. Samford is nationally-recognized for value and affordability by Kiplinger's Personal Finance, Forbes, The Princeton Review and others.

Samford also enjoys a growing national reputation and increasing recognitions for our academic programs, Kimrey added.
