Samford University ushers in the Advent season with its traditional Hanging of the Green and Lighting of the Way ceremonies.

The time of worship reflects on the meaning of Christmas through responsive readings and decorating with garlands, candles, the Advent wreath and Chrismon tree.

Special senior honorees assist with the program.  They are chosen by a selection committee that looks at leadership, scholarship, spiritual commitment and community service.
