Samford University’s Cumberland Law Review will present ‘Playing For Love’ Friday, October 28. The symposium asks “What’s knowledge got to do with it under NCAA amateurism rules.”
Friday’s discussion will focus on the legal implications regarding the lack of knowledge-intent requirement under NCAA rules.
Featured speakers at this event include Robert A. Boland, Professor of Sports Management & Sports Business, NYU, Russ Campbell, Partner, Balch & Bigham, Paul Finebaum, Host of the Paul Finebaum Radio Network and Donald Jackson, Sports Attorney, The Sports Group.
Also speaking will be NCAA Compliance Directors Rich McGylnn from Auburn University and Mike Ward from the University of Alabama.
