The 2010 Miss Samford University scholarship pageant will be Friday (NOV. 20) in Wright Center Concert Hall at 8 p.m.
Seven contestants will compete in on-stage
question, lifestyle and fitness, talent and evening wear categories.
They are Maegan Carroll of Trussville, Katherine Fuller of Briarfield,
Susan Hamm of Thorsby, Annie Lockwood of Alpharetta, Ga., Mary
Katherine Pugh of Montgomery, Hannah Seymour of Huntsville and Ashla
Taylor of McCalla,
The winner will represent Samford in the Miss Alabama scholarship pageant in June.
Kelsey Richter, a sophomore nursing major from
Albany, Ga., and Christina Schoerner, a sophomore nutrition and
dietetics major from Carrollton, Ga., are pageant co-directors.
Tickets are $9 in advance through Thursday in
the Food Court of Samford’s Beeson University Center or online at
