Samford University Library will host author Robert McCammon in a Live at the Library program Saturday, Oct. 29, at 10 a.m. The public is invited free of charge to the event in Room 235 of the University Library.
McCammon is the author of more than 14 novels and many short stories, including Boy's Life, Swan Song, Mine, Gone South, and his newest series, Speaks the Nightbird.
The two-volume Speaks the Nightbird and other selected McCammon books will be available for purchase. A book signing and refreshments will follow his talk.
The event is part of Samford's 2005 Homecoming celebration. Due to several construction projects on the Samford campus, overflow parking will be available at Homewood High School and the Samford soccer stadium on South Lakeshore Drive. Shuttles will run from overflow lots beginning about 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29.
