Community Food Bank of Central Alabama
Find locations and hours of Birmingham-metro food pantries. They are conveniently located, many at churches, with 20 pantries less five miles of Samford’s campus!
Food Assistance
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, supplements food budgets in times of need so families and individuals can purchase healthy food as they move toward self-sufficiency. Request Student Emergency Assistance
Thank for you for your interest in the student emergency assistance fund. This fund assists students who have unmet financial needs related to basic living expenses, such as rent, food, utilities, etc.; educational support items such as books, fees or other class supplies; and family emergencies and other unforeseen circumstances.
For help with tuition, room and board, contact Samford One Stop at ofa@samford.edu or 205-726-2905.
Costs or expenses that have already been paid are not eligible for reimbursement.
Please note financial assistance is limited to $750 per semester, with a maximum cap of $2500 awarded per student during their enrollment at Samford.
