Samford Community Rallies Together to Exceed Annual Giving Day Goals
On April 9, Samford University celebrated Samford Giving Day 2024. After almost a decade of being known as The Big Give, University Advancement refreshed the campaign in 2023 to feature a more consistent, simplified message. Samford Giving Day is now a 24-hour event for collective support of areas all over campus.

Chizuru Elliott embodies Gospel ministry, using her incredible cooking skills, heart for teaching and gift of hospitality to be the hands and feet of Jesus. She views the new Elliott Family Legacy League Scholarship as a way to minister to students who have faced tremendous challenges by providing them with transformational educational experiences. She prays its recipients will view the scholarship as the Lord’s provision and experience deepened faith as a result.
