Taylor joined the Spiritual Life team in January 2023 as the Associate Campus Minister! She has a passion for meeting college students right where they are and pointing them to Jesus. It is her greatest joy to come alongside the next generation and help them see their full identity in Christ and their leadership potential.

Originally from Panama City, Florida, Taylor loves the beach, swimming, and being on the water! In 2014, she graduated from Troy University with a degree in Communications Studies and Leadership Development. She received a Master’s of Discipleship and Master’s of Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2020. Prior to coming on staff at Samford, Taylor served as the Girls Ministry Associate with the Student Ministry at First Baptist Church Opelika for 8 years.

She recently got engaged to her best friend, James! Taylor loves good coffee, trying new restaurants, hosting people at her house, and her favorite place to be is around a fire pit with her friends making s’mores! She loves rooting for the ATL Braves, Kansas City Chiefs, Auburn Tigers, and of course, the Samford Bulldogs! Her favorite title is being “Aunt Tay” to her precious niece + nephew
