In 2017, Protestants will celebrate the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther’s posting of his 95 Theses on the Castle Church door in Wittenberg, Germany. This event marks the symbolic beginning of the Protestant Reformation, a diverse movement of spiritual and ecclesial renewal which gave us the Bible in our own language and many other developments that still shape our Christian faith today.

To commemorate this historic occasion, Timothy George, dean of Samford University’s Beeson Divinity School, will colead a 10-day Reformation tour, June 26–July 5, 2017, with David S. Dockery, president of Trinity International University, and Scott Manetsch, Reformation scholar and professor of church history at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

The trip will begin in Germany and end in Switzerland with an optional three-day extension to Rome.

Cost for the basic 10-day tour is $4,399 per person. The Rome extension is $1,199.

“We would love for you to come along for this special, once-in-a-lifetime experience as we follow in the footsteps of Martin Luther, John Calvin, the Anabaptists and other reformers,” said George, author of Theology of the Reformers.
