Samford University Theatre will present the drama, "Copenhagen," March 27-30, in Christenberry Planetarium, located in the Samford Sciencenter. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. on March 27, 28 and 29, and at 2:30 p.m. on March 30.

The masterpiece by Michael Frayn focuses on a visit made by German physicist Werner Heisenberg to physicist Neils Bohr in 1941. The two, who had collaborated on the development of quantum theory, were on opposing sides of World War II. The play examines issues of history and politics, and the nature and ethics of humanity.

"Copenhagen" is directed by Samford theatre major Matt Godfrey of Hoover, and stars theatre majors John Cooley of Shannon, Brad Roller of Birmingham and Natalie Saxon of Mableton, Ga.
