Prior to Samford, Ava attended the Cambridge School of Dallas, where she was a member of the Prefect Council, an AP Scholar and a PVSA recipient. She also served as captain of the school volleyball team. While at Samford, Ava will study Law and Political Science with a minor in Business, and she plans to go to law school after graduation.
