The Samford University spotlight this week is on research presentations by 134 undergraduate students in a variety of disciplines. Students were presenting posters and oral presentations April 29-May 2 as part of the annual Samford Showcase, the annual event which celebrates undergraduate research from across campus.

Fabian Truss, a senior sports administration major from Moody, Ala., was one of the early presenters. His research focused on the correlation between NCAA rules violations, student-athletes and institutions.

Assisting Truss in his research were fellow senior sports administration majors Zachary Mardis from Scottsboro, Ala. and Matthew Powell from Franklin, Tenn.

The Showcase is coordinated by the Office of the Provost.
