The Rite of Passage Ceremony is for students who are formally admitted into the Brock School of Business. The ceremony symbolizes this achievement and imparts what is expected as they prepare for their professional career.

The Rite of Passage Ceremony highlights the Legacy of the Brock School of Business and the student’s contribution to its ideals. The Brock Legacy tells the story of the cohort of innovative and passionate businessmen and businesswomen that have graduated from Samford University and now represent the Brock School of Business in their professions. The Brock Present is represented by the testament of a current student. The Brock Future is a charge to the students, from the Dean, challenging them to uphold the mission, vision and core values of the Brock School of Business.
