Two more Samford regional events are planned during April, bringing to 25 the total for the spring. The receptions are sponsored by Samford’s offices of admission and university advancement.

The receptions bring together alumni, parents of current students, prospective students and their families for a chance to connect with one another and learn more about Samford, according to Kelia Furr, Samford’s parents programs coordinator.

An April 12 reception is scheduled in Richmond, Va., at the Hilton Richmond Hotel. The event is from 6:30-8:30 p.m. EDT.

An April 14 reception is planned from 7:30-9:30 p.m. EDT at the DC City Club in Washington for students, parents and alumni in the DC metropolitan area and Northern Virginia.

An event in Southern California, coordinated by the office of admission, tentatively is planned for May. Details are not yet finalized for that event.

Reservations for the Richmond and Washington events can be made by responding to sualumni@samford.edu.
