Samford University's Beeson Divinity School will present guest lecturer Myron Augsburger during this year's Reformation Heritage Lectures Oct. 28-30.
"Course Corrections in our Journey of Faith" is the topic of the series. The public is invited to the lectures free of charge.
Dr. Augsburger is president emeritus of Eastern Mennonite University, Harrisonburg, Va., where he was also professor of theology. His service has ranged from the local church to international evangelistic preaching missions, and includes ecumenical efforts in the U.S. and Canada.
He has been an evangelist, church planter and pastor, and moderator of his denomination.
President of EMU during 1965-80, Augsburger was president of the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities during 1988-95. He has written more than 20 books.
