Samford University Legacy League

The Legacy League is a philanthropic organization with 800 members including university friends, alumni, parents and employees.

Members, ranging in age from 22 to 101, are united in their commitment to provide life-changing scholarships to students with significant financial need and challenging circumstances. The Legacy League offers meaningful volunteer opportunities, inspirational programs and a friendly, caring community to all who become involved.

2025 Scholarship Luncheon

Join us for an inspiring message from a two-time Oxford graduate, and the first female dean of St. Peter’s College, Oxford, Dr. Carolyn Weber. In her memoir, which is also a feature film, Surprised by Oxford, Dr. Weber chronicles her journey from agnosticism to faith.
