What has made your experience as a Brock Scholar valuable?
I have greatly enjoyed my experience as a Brock Scholar. Last semester, I had the privilege of interning with Momentum Leaders, a local nonprofit that works to advance women in corporate leadership. Through this experience, I gained valuable experience helping facilitate programs and assisting with conference preparations. It was truly inspiring to get to work with a group of women who lead so graciously and are so passionate about pouring into their communities.
How has Brock Scholars allowed you to diversify your course of study?
In addition to my internship experience, Brock Scholars has allowed me to diversify my accounting coursework by taking additional classes in sociology. As someone pursuing a career in nonprofit management, I am grateful for the opportunity to take additional classes that help prepare me to be successful both technically and relationally.
