Brock School of Business Distributes 2025 Scholarships and Awards
In April, Samford University Brock School of Business hosted several awards ceremonies recognizing the hard work of its students. During the 61th annual Scholarships and Awards Ceremony held on Friday, April 11, more than $230,000 in scholarships were awarded to deserving business students to apply to tuition for the 2025-26 academic year. Four faculty members were also recognized for excellence in teaching, research and scholarship, and service.
Barbara Cartledge to Retire After Two Decades of Impact at Brock School of Business
After more than 22 years of faithful service to Samford University’s Brock School of Business, Barbara Cartledge, assistant professor of business, will retire in summer 2025. Kirkpatrick Brings Strategic Leadership to Alliance for Sport Business
Nathan Kirkpatrick, assistant professor of sport business at Brock School of Business, is currently serving as president of the Alliance for Sport Business (ASB) for the 2024–25 academic year. Founded in 2011, ASB provides a valuable platform for sport business programs housed within accredited business schools.
