Aura Hernandez will share about her upbringing in Guatemala, which was marked by hardship and danger, as the town succumbed to extreme poverty, violence, and gang activity. Despite her father's traditional beliefs that girls should marry early, her mother secretly enrolled her in school and Compassion International’s child development program, which introduced Aura to education and faith.
