Flavors of Thailand (Adults 17+)

The Samford Wellness Kitchen celebrates the Flavors of Thailand! Participants will learn to make Curry Chicken Satay, Vegetable Spring Rolls, Peanut Dipping Sauce, and Mango Sticky Rice. Major allergens: peanuts (*can be modified by request prior to class). Participants will receive training in basic culinary techniques, learn about key nutrients and enjoy sharing a meal together at the end of class. This class is open to adults 17+ in the greater Birmingham community. Limited to 16 participants.

Join the Samford Wellness Kitchen as we have a Farm-to-Table night featuring a Southern Vegetable Plate with local Alabama produce: Succotash, Braised Collard Greens, Candied Sweet Potatoes, Apple pie. Allergens: gluten/wheat, dairy, eggs (*can be modified prior to class). Participants will receive training in basic culinary techniques, learn about key nutrients and enjoy sharing a meal together at the end of class. Teens (11-16) can join the Samford Wellness Kitchen for a night of Mediterranean Cuisine. The menu includes Lemon Herb Chicken Pitas with Tzatziki, Mediterranean Chickpea Salad, and Rosemary Olive Oil Cake. Major allergens: gluten/wheat, dairy*, eggs (*can be modified by request prior to class). Participants will receive training in basic culinary techniques, learn about key nutrients and enjoy sharing a meal together at the end of class. This class is open to teens (11-16) in the greater Birmingham community. Limited to 16 participants.
