Undergraduate Major & Minor

The Communication Sciences and Disorders major at Samford University prepares students for careers in speech-language pathology, audiology and related health care fields. Graduates are ready to pursue a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (MS SLP) or a Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree.

For students pursuing other majors, a 22-credit minor includes all required CSDS coursework and meets prerequisites for those applying to Samford’s two-year MS SLP program
