Samford Athletics Hall of Fame Celebration – May 4
The 2024 class, the seventh in the Hall of Fame's history, consists of the 2012 baseball team, football's Devlin Hodges, track and field's Karisa Nelson, basketball's Reed Rawlings, baseball's John Russell and basketball's Jimmy Tillette.
Samford Athletics’ S-Club Golf Tournament exists to connect former student-athletes with each other and with Samford. All gifts to our golf tournament go directly to the S-Club and are used to host S-Club events as well as support our 360 student-athletes.
Samford Athletics’ 10th annual Samford Classic golf tournament will be hosted at Shoal Creek. Various sponsorship and volunteer opportunities exist. More details to be shared closer to the tournament.

Men's Basketball Propelled to Comeback By Career Fort Performance
SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Samford men's basketball team took to the road today in Southern Conference play as they visited Wofford. The Bulldogs were able to snap their two-game losing skid behind a career night from Trey Fort who led Samford to a 16-point second half comeback victory. The Bulldog's 76-68 victory moves them to 20-7 on the season and 10-4 in SoCon play while Wofford drops to 14-13 overall and 8-6 in league play.
Women’s Basketball Wins Third-Straight Game In 55-50 Victory Over Chattanooga
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford women's basketball team earned its third-straight win with a 55-50 victory over Chattanooga Saturday afternoon in the Pete Hanna Center.
Softball Finishes Saturday 2-0 Over UAB and Indiana State
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford softball team continued play at home this weekend as they faced UAB and Indiana State in the three-team Samford Tournament. The Bulldog bats were dominant in game one over the Blazers as they won by run rule 16-7 while in game two their pitching carried the day as they beat the Sycamores 3-1. The Bulldogs move to 5-2 after both victories today.
Track and Field Finishes Competing at Bulldog Invite and Open
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford men's and women's track and field team competed the past two days at the Bulldog Invite on Friday and the Bulldog Open today at the Birmingham Crossplex. Samford athletes littered the leaderboards with top-three finishes as the Dogs prepare for the Southern Conference Indoor Championships.
Men’s Tennis Wins Eighth-Straight, 6-1 Over Presbyterian
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford men's tennis team earned its eighth-straight win with a 6-1 victory over Presbyterian Saturday at the Samford Tennis Center.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford softball team had its home opener tonight as they began play at their own tournament which continues tomorrow and Sunday which includes UAB and Indiana State. The Bulldogs opened with the Blazers tonight and won in dramatic fashion as they walked it off in the eighth inning 6-5. The win moves Samford to 3-2 early in the season while UAB falls to 4-2.
