Cheryl Kim is a dedicated South Korean pianist, vocalist, violinist, and aspiring choral music director. As Associate Director of Choirs at Cincinnati Youth Choir, she led the Con Brio Choir and assisted Managing Artistic Director Robyn Lana. She previously served as Adjunct Professor at Xavier University, directing the XU Women’s Chorus, and as Music Director at Korean Power Mission Baptist Church.

Kim holds a Bachelor's in Music Education from Indiana University, where she studied piano with Professor Evelyne Brancart and Dr. Gregory Martin. She was an active member of the University Chorale and Singing Hoosiers. She earned her Master’s in Choral Conducting from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music under Dr. Joe Miller and Dr. Brett Scott, serving as a Graduate Assistant on a full scholarship.

Before moving to the U.S., Kim performed across Southeast Asia as an accompanist, conductor, and educator. She was a runner-up nominee for the IASAS Cultural Conventions Music as a pianist in 2014 and 2015. An active violinist, she has played with the Sarang Church Hallelujah Orchestra since 2012. Passionate about choral music, Kim aims to inspire and impact others through her artistry.
